Starting off the new year with a weekly feature client of the week is my way of saying “thank you” to all those who have supported Deep Creative.
High up on Hacquoil Road, a quiet backroad off Highway 61 towards the Slate River Valley, sits a quaint little storefront cabin. In visiting The Camellia, you’ll be pleasantly surprised by the amount of unique treasures one will find upon opening the door. Take a tour with owner, Camille, and take in the sweet smells of lush hand-made soaps and spa products. There’s plenty of seasonal home decor available
including hand-made wreaths, swags and centrepieces. If you’re looking for a little DIY project, The Camellia offers Cottage Paint, an easy way to re-furbish any tired furniture, in endless colours. For the bride-to-be, Camille offers everything from bridal-registry to bouquet arrangements to wedding favours. You’ll never leave without an inspirational streak, and for that, Camille offers year-round classes for small groups.
“At The Camellia, we are all about making your home beautiful through bringing nature in. We make-to-order fabulous wreaths and Dutch-styled floral designs. You can take a class and learn how to use Cottage/Chalky paint to freshen furniture and paint cabinets. We have exquisite cotton bedding, lace runners, and water-repellent tablecloths. Another of our specialities is wedding flowers.” Camille O., The Camellia
Camille has been a pleasure to work alongside. We’ve worked together on seasonal print material, showcasing her exquisite talent in all that she does. Her storefront has become one of my favourite places to shop, if not, just to meander around and take in all the unique products and designs her little store holds. Some of the past projects we’ve worked on include postcard designs and seasonal website banners.
